StartApp Builds Integration With Adobe Audience Manager

The new integration gives marketers access to StartApp SODA audience segments based on the network’s global audience of 1 billion users


NEW YORK, June 18, 2019StartApp, the leading mobile media and data company, recently announced its new integration with Adobe Audience Manager, part of the Adobe Experience Cloud, in addition to existing integrations with other major DMPs, such as The Trade Desk, LiveRamp, Lotame, Adsquare and more.

The new integration gives marketers access to StartApp’s audience of over 1 billion users, via StartApp SODA Audiences in Adobe Audience Manager. SODA Audiences are pre-packaged mobile audience segments sourced from StartApp’s database, which is comprised of data from more than 700,000 apps worldwide that have installed StartApp’s SDK. Audience segments are built using a “multi-signal” approach, based on a data classification model that combines multiple data points from the StartApp database, including apps ownership, location signals, device make and model, device language, WiFi, Bluetooth, cellular networks, and others.

With Adobe Audience Manager, agencies, advertisers and data buyers can subscribe to StartApp data feeds, and use StartApp SODA Audiences to plan their campaign, or activate and send the data to a destination of their choice.

Customers can select a variety of plan types and use cases to extend audience reach and optimize their targeting. This includes Segment Overlaps, where low overlap suggests StartApp traits with users the buyer has not seen before, enabling the buyer to add new users to their audience segments; and high overlap, where StartApp traits contain users similar to those the buyer is already aware of, enabling the buyer to enhance existing audiences by making targeted, incremental improvements. In addition, Activation lets buyers send StartApp data to a destination, and activate it on a CPM pricing model.
