StartApp’s Top 5 in 2016
The last year was a landmark year for StartApp and we’re tremendously grateful to our clients!
While we’re excited for what’s next in 2017, let’s take a quick look back at the some of the great things that happened in 2016.
1. New Options for Advertisers
We unveiled a redesigned advertiser portal that makes it easier for self-service advertisers to manage their campaigns. In addition, we introduced new targeting options like app presence, gender targeting, and new pricing models.
2. New Features and Incentives for Publishers
In addition to additional ad units, new programs and features were added to the publisher portal. The new referral program was unveiled encouraging publishers to bring their friends, and enrich our SDK network, while a messaging system was added to the portal allowing them to get the most relevant and personalized messages directly in their account.
3. SODA Unveiled
At the beginning of the year, we unveiled SODA, that allows social apps to access insightful user data. When we combine this data with our advanced business intelligence, we can help our partners find and engage their high-quality users. By using these insights, marketers can create a mobile strategy using a complete picture of their most engaged users.
This year we entered the world of Virtual Reality with our first mobile ad campaign. We hope it will pave the way for mobile VR publishers to begin monetizing their games and apps without needing to charge users to download.
5. Unprecedented Growth
With over 1.2 billion monthly active users in 160+ countries and partnerships with over 300,000 apps, StartApp has had huge growth in 2016. And we hope to continue growth in 2017.
